You're probably wondering why there's so much going on to do with the 'Titanic' in these recent weeks. The countless documentaries and the re-release of the film in 3D have all been constantly talked about! It is the sinking of the ships 100th anniversary this year. Many special events were held in memorial for that tragic, unforgettable day in 1912 where the Titanic struck an iceberg and thousands of people lost their lives and even more lost a loved one.

[caption id="attachment_1177" align="alignleft" width="340" caption="Titanic 'Ship of Dreams'"][/caption]

People boarded on the cruise ship 'MS Balmoral' which retraced the route of the Titanic's journey in the North Atlantic for the 1,512 people who died that day. A minutes silence was held as wreaths were thrown out to sea at the exact moment the ‘unsinkable’ ship went down.  Shortly after hymns and prayers were recited. Passengers, many of whom were descendants of those who were perished in the tragedy, and crew members listened on as names were read out of those that died.  Relatives spoke out;

‘’And when the lights went out it must have been horrendous. We witnessed that tonight." "You still get a chill just looking at that water, imagining you have to go into it.’’

Not having enough lifeboats on board to save all the passengers and only taking two and a half hours to sink after hitting an ice-berg was the big downfall that hit us all.

In Belfast, the birthplace of the largest ship at the time, a service took place where a large plaque was revealed to the public featuring every victims name in alphabetical order. Thousands attended.

The anniversary has also been remembered in New York, where it was the intended destination of the Titanic a century ago.

Newly released photographs to the public show emotional pictures of victim’s clothing and baggage still intact but amongst the rubble at the bottom of the international waters. Of course this unfortunate event will be remembered forever and commiserations will be ever given.

It’s fair to say I have a few scars on my body here and there. I tend to be that girl that can’t let go of a pimple or two when it appears especially in broad daylight. Sounds disgusting right? But I’d rather get have it gone one way or another instead of having this shiny massive spot screaming ‘hello!’ to the world.

I’m sure many of you reading this have experienced a pimple or spot at one point in your lifetime and maybe have learnt that if you do not leave it alone and start ‘popping’ or picking at it, chances are that you will end up with a horrible scar that will take a long time to disappear. Believe me, I know how you feel.

The things we humans have to go through to fix such a skin condition goes to show how insecure some of us may feel. It’s not nice feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. I probably put that all down to the media and their glossy magazines with Kate Moss airbrushed to perfection on a double spread of Vogue. It’s no wonder why many teens and women and men for that matter feel the need to look perfect and blend into that image that our society feels is acceptable to look.

Well, all that aside, I know for a fact that there has been millions upon millions of pounds being spent in beauty and skin research as well as the billions of pounds being wasted on so called ‘miracle products’.

We have all had our hearts broken after we realise that the ‘As Seen on tv’ cream or lotion we ordered last month was all a load of rubbish and it was merely something that supposedly worked on that small percentage of women that ‘saw a difference’.

Mind you, the next time you see an advert on a new beauty product in the market and they say ‘according to our survey, 90% of women agree it works’ be sure to read the small print on the bottom that states the exact details of their experiment. Usually it would say something like ‘tested on 100 women’ – how is that a clear representation of all the women out there? They only test 100 women out of thousands upon thousands living in the UK who are looking for such products and only a small number out of the 100 people in that sample say the product works and automatically it’s a miracle product? Ridiculous!

Anyway, that’s enough babbling on; let’s get straight to the point – I have chosen a product that claims to do the trick. Does Bio Oil really work?

Firstly I have to say that although I have only had the product for a couple of weeks I can see why it may be recommended by people who have various skin conditions. This product states clearly on the packaging that it helps banish scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin.

I have not been using it as consistently as I’m meant to, I admit it, I suck at being consistent, I barely tweet as often as I should and that is apparently meant to be an addiction! But applying lotions and oil on a regular basis proves to be a challenge for me. Especially when it’s something I don’t see immediate results with. My impatience gets the better of me!

This is where many people go wrong I believe, although I cannot show before and after pictures of that ugly scar which transformed into flawless even skin, the thing I’ve learned about beauty is you need to have patience. Products don’t really have immediate effects from what I have seen and experienced. You have to be consistent and patient and slowly you may see dark areas and scarring disappear.

Another thing to remember is that everyone is different and we all have different skin types so whether we see results or not depends on our bodies, so don’t discard your bottle of Bio Oil if your friend received faster results than you.

When I first started using this product I noticed its consistency was oily but not to the point it feels as if you need to wash it off with bleach. The key breakthrough ingredient this product boasts about is PurCellin. Apparently the nature of this ingredient means that it changes the formulations overall consistency ensuring that the product is non-greasy and light for your skin to easily absorb the vitamins and plant extracts within the oil. This is great news for those who have oily combination skin as the bio oil will be absorbed fast on your skin and your face won’t look like you’ve just bathed in grease.

Whenever I use Bio Oil I notice that the moisturizing properties are very good and once my skin absorbs the oil it leaves it feeling soft and smooth. I usually use it more on my face and I apply some the night before and then a little more after I’ve washed my face in the morning. You don’t have to be strict with your routine but they do recommend that you apply evenly on clean skin at night. As I have dry skin, this is a very good product to help hydrate and make it glow.

That’s my experience so far with Bio Oil and I suggest that if you are in need of something that helps with the appearance of scars, stretch marks etc then it’s worth the investment, the prices vary from retailer to retailer but I would recommend you stay away from your local pharmacist as they charge too much for their products. Instead go to Amazon as they have the 200ml bottle for only £11.45 which I personally think is a bargain. Good Luck, I hope it works for you!

I don’t feel right judging a person entirely on their appearance, a lot needs to be taken into account for me to judge whether or not I like them or what I think of them at least. Their persona, sense of humour, morals, attitudes, ethics etc.
Now I’m sure most of you heard about the ‘beautiful’ Samantha Brick, and most probably have formed your own opinion of her from that one article she wrote for the ‘Daily Mail’. How she goes on to talk about how her good looks gets her freebies! ‘’
'I’ve regularly had bottles of bubbly or wine sent to my restaurant table by men I don’t know. Once, a well-dressed chap bought my train ticket when I was standing behind him in the queue, while there was another occasion when a charming gentleman paid my fare as I stepped out of a cab in Paris‘. Of course this sounds lovely and of course any woman would love that kind of attention, it‘s flattering and makes someone's day, but she then goes on to say ‘But there are downsides to being pretty — the main one being that other women hate me for no other reason than my lovely looks‘. This, I believe, was the quote that got many women fuming. Her arrogance is hard to miss with quotes like that. Her interview on ‘This Morning’ shed more light on the matter.

Although she exclaims that women have ‘slammed doors in her face’ and her friends are insecure about their husbands being around her, it can be criticised that what was written was only from her point of view. Of course we don’t know what goes on in other women’s heads, and in all honesty maybe there are a few jealous green eyed monsters who feel threatened and want her out the picture. But this cannot be said for certain. All the articles claims is that women hate her for her good looks. This is over generalised and Ruth Langsford, itv Presenter, hits back saying maybe it’s her arrogance that makes her not liked ‘to come out and say it in print does have a certain arrogance to it’. I can understand the whole ’mean girl’ concept and how certain women feel threatened but truthfully Ruth has a point. It doesn’t surprise me that she’s had so many negative emails and such.
Another concept would be that people would want to be friends with others who are attractive, so it does boil down to personality. At the end of the day being boastful is not a beautiful trait to have and I'm sure most of us would agree that her article did in fact give off that vibe. Her interview in 'This Morning', showed the public her attitude towards other people and how she is not afraid to express her feelings about her own friends. This alone I formed my own opinion on her as I'm sure you have too.

Have you ever had a day where you wake up feeling blah? Then you look in the mirror and think this is not your day! Whether it be blemishes, spots, scars or uneven skin tone, something needs to be done. Not only for yourself but for others too.. No-one wants to be scared on a Monday morning. Trust me, I put my own hand up when it comes the whole vicious cycle. You know the one I'm talking about; using concealer to make your skin even and in the long run making it worse. Well fear no more my fellow ladies (and men if you're into that kind of thing), because help is at hand!

I've been using this product for over a year now and I recommend it for the girls that sometimes just wants effortless makeup done ever so effortlessly. Drum roll please..... It's none other than Benefit's 'Hello flawless' powder and concealer all in one. The name says it all really. Perfectly flawless. Now this product has got me through some rough times. Such a quick easy method, as most powders you're thinking, but this one goes a long way. The powder itself is silky soft and a little makes a lot of difference. It goes on so smoothly and the coverage lasts all day, okay maybe one or two touch up's if you have oily skin but on the whole; long lasting. Some people recommend it as a powder foundation, therefore less is used on your skin, making the cycle come to an end. I've gone for the 'toasted beige' colour as it's perfect for my skin tone and unlike most powders it has no pink or orange undertones. But there's a perfect range for all skin tones.

[caption id="attachment_1103" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Benefit - Hello Flawless Make Up"][/caption]

Depending of your preference, there's the option to use a brush or sponge and believe it or not it can have two 'lasting' effects. The brush applicator is useful for a sheer finish and shine control, whereas the sponge is perfect for concealing those unwanted imperfections. So double the magic. The applicators surely must add to the finish, the brushes bristles are soft and light and the sponge is soft but dense. Although it is a little bit on the expensive side of powders at £24.50, I personally think it is really worth it! It lasts for absolutely ages; a year on and I still have a lot left considering how often I use it! this way you don't spend on useless, promise-breaking ones that let you down all the time.

All these benefits, but there's more. This summer, hoping we have one, you want to look good as well as be protected, SPF 15 baby! Yes, it really has all the benefits. This is a good reason as any to march into a store and pick it up! This is definitely an item I wish to carry on using in the future, it may serve you well too.

As we know, the days are finally getting longer, nature is turning a new leaf and everyone is slowly coming to the end of a tiring first half of the year.
Students are looking forward to the end of exams and the way the weather has been recently it seems there’s not long to go till the summer holidays! About time to.
This is of course exciting news for millions of people who can’t wait to ditch their massive thick coats and umbrellas for some good ‘ol sun tan and flip flops.

The recent recession has meant that the number of holidays taken abroad by UK residents has dropped by good 17% in the first half of 2009, stated by the Office of National Statistics. This was a massive drop and the numbers are still dropping in 2012. Saying this, there has been a massive increase in the amount of holidays within the UK. Trips to the beach or countryside are becoming more common. People are ditching expensive trips to their villas in Spain and elsewhere and looking to spend on a more ‘wallet-friendly’ holiday in their own country, whether it be camping out in Cornwall or visiting the beach in Blackpool. This may be the case for many families out there but what else exciting is there to do in the UK?

Well my fellow British travellers, I have compiled and collected a list of the Top 6 Theme Park Destinations for summer 2012!
Maybe it’s not for those looking to spend a couple of peaceful nights watching the sun set but for those adrenaline seekers looking for a good time during the summer break – put your seatbelts on as I take you through the Top 6 theme parks of 2012!

Starting at #6 - Legoland

Okay, so this is one of those theme parks that would probably interest the young at heart.
It may not be the best place to go for thrill seekers but those fond memories of a time when you were much younger does tend to flood right back when you see those plastic red and yellow bricks. Admit it, we’ve all tried to build a Lego house when we were younger.
Lego land is perfect for the whole family and there’s so much to do, so much to eat and you can even book a couple of nights there in the newly opened hotel for as cheap as £62.

Legoland #6

#5 - Drayton Manor
This may not always be the most talked about theme park but I can assure you it is well worth a visit, at number 5 it is Drayton Manor. The UK's largest family owned theme park. It has a zoo for all those animal lovers and it’s also packed with many rides that can give you those adrenaline rushes you crave for. For those who would want to spend a few nights there to be able to experience the whole theme park can do so at their 75 bedroom hotel which was open on 15 August 2011.
If you want all round family entertainment Drayton Manor is certainly the place to go.

#4 Chessington
Here we have a classic theme park that opened in 1987 although it was originally just a zoo at first. This park is actually split into 10 separate themes, each having its own location.
The entire park has a lot of attractions, again for the whole family and there is a wide selection for all ages. Don’t forget that the atmosphere is a major part of theme parks and I can assure you that Chessington is the perfect place for a change of atmosphere. The look and feel of the place is just as nice as dining and going on the rides.

Chessington #4

#3 Blackpool Pleasure Beach:
The Blackpool amusement park has really got it all! It’s a trip you will never forget with rides including Europe’s tallest rollercoasters, and with an entertainment brand for kids. Nickelodeon land is brilliant for popularising kids with the TV characters whom they know and love. No matter what the weather they have it all up their sleeves with indoor attractions. The fun never stops!

[caption id="attachment_1084" align="alignnone" width="380" caption="Blackpool Pleasure Beach #3"][/caption]

#2 Thorpe Park
Famously known for Saw, Nemesis, Stealth and more, this theme park has it all!
The most thrilling of all theme parks, it is not for the faint at heart. You need your inner adrenalin ego to come out and say heck yeah! There is a new ride for 2012, ride winged roller coaster The Swarm! I have to stress that the queues may be as long as a hour or two, but do not let that put you off, every ride is well worth it!

[caption id="attachment_1085" align="alignnone" width="392" caption="Thorpe Park #2"][/caption]

#1 Alton towers
Why not escape to the fabulous world of the Alton Towers Resort. This is the UK's most popular theme park, with great kids attractions, white-knuckle roller coaster rides, special events and much, much more, Alton Towers Resort is the perfect destination for the whole family! The theme park is open for the main season between 24 March - 4 November 2012 - that means 225 action-packed days of the year. seriously what are you waiting for. Book your tickets now!

[caption id="attachment_1087" align="alignnone" width="274" caption="Alton Towers #1"][/caption]

[For all theme parks packages and deals may vary]

Top Tips:
Book early online! - If you are looking to visit some of these theme parks it is best to check their websites and book early to save some money, rather than paying at the door which could be double the amount you pay.

Fast Track Tickets! - It would be wise to invest in some ‘fast track’ tickets , to places like Thorpe park, to make the most of your money that day, I would recommend this for those adrenaline seekers who want to experience the top rides and avoid long queues.

Get there early! - don’t take too long to get to the theme park, you need the whole day for this trip. Otherwise you’ll spend more time queuing up for the rides rather than enjoying them.

Do not take valuables!
Things may get damaged, lost or stolen. You wouldn’t want you high tech camera to stop you from enjoying the water splash ride now would you, I suggest a disposable.

Take a packed lunch!
sometimes the food there may be inconvenient and pricey, by taking a sandwich or two, you save a few pennies and can spend more in the souvenir store.

Be prepared!
Make sure you take advantage of the maps they may have to offer, you want to know where rides are rather than spending time having to look for them.

But there comes a day when they need to up the game, and believe me they have.
Christian Louboutin fans may need to reinforce their self control to buy shoes, shoes and more shoes!! Yes that’s right, the big label has now become part of the virtual family and has launched their online e-boutique. So now shoppers can start buying the French designers signature red-soled shoes right away. What are you waiting for?

Christian Louboutin Online Website

The spring launch is to celebrate the label’s big twentieth anniversary which will include the complete womanswear and menswear collections as well as the recent limited editions.
The lucky shoppers can now browse with easy navigation around the site to further define their desired product, just like any other retail site. This includes the colour, size, style and heel height. Amongst pictures, which can be zoomed in on and a viewed 360-degrees, there will soon be videos, of the products in action. Not only this but experts are giving out style advice and fashion tips for those in need. This can be done through webcam and other digital features.
Soon to come are more digital initiatives such as iPhone applications, they surely are taking advantage of the world wide web now. Customers will be able to pre order their footwear and handbags from the winter 2012 collection as early as this spring, before it’s out in boutiques. My advice: start browsing.

Ever had a headache? Migraine? Cramps maybe? What’s your first response? You reach for the Paracetomol! Two is what calms the pain, at least for four hours or so, until you reach for the tablets yet again. Now this may be an over generalisation I have of people, but it is from what I know and see. Many people over time become what I call ‘pill poppers’. First sign of discomfort and they can’t handle it, or so they tell themselves that. Nowadays It has become an essential item to be carried around in handbags like our phones or keys, it is perceived as important as a first aid box. Now my intention is not to deter people away from doing this if this is their usual, everyday habit, because at the end of the day it might get you through the day. It is understandable if you are prone to pain, in whichever form, My thoughts are with you. But I just want to put my point across at how dependent people are upon this miracle tablet, when minor pain is the case. My attitude towards taking pills may stem from the fact that I am not entirely comfortable with taking them, like I do my sweets, but in no way is it healthy to depend on them, either one may I include. Swallowing them is still a challenge, it takes me over four attempts. Please do not laugh at my insecurity of having it clogged down my throat. I know it’s designed to be slippery and the size may be an indication that it is impossible, but that is another story for another day.

For those people who rely on pain killers, over time, the effectiveness inevitably decreases. They therefore will not have a desired effect. Imagine that! taking them when you actually do have pain that needs controlling and nothing happening, this is why those pills are my last resort, my saviour if you like. But even this is a wow factor because I will only take them if necessary, (on the floor rolling around crying). Now maybe, you should not go to that extent or leave it to that point, but a lot of theories, such as the placebo methods do work! If you feel the need to take something, this would be a hard experiment to test on yourself so try mixing fake one, tic tacs would do, with the real ones in a bottle and see where you go from there. It is all to do with the psychology of the brain. if you think it will work, that may just be the reason why it does and if it does work, then why not?

You see, I do not want Paracetomols to be ineffective on me because believe me, like everybody else I hate pain too. But I cope with the ones that I can myself rather than leaving it to medication. I’m still taking one at a time when in need, ‘what a baby’ you’re thinking? but it works! Did you know, in actual fact taking two tablets at a time is more than the required amount for many pain killer medications. But one doesn’t work, does it? or do you think it’s because the effectiveness on you had decreased already?

Did you know love can take forms of all sorts of languages as well as being revealed with the sign of affection? Yes, well it is found as a quality where all human beings take the desire to impress within themselves. We all deserve to love and be loved as being a husband, wife, father, mother, sons, daughters and so forth. Everyone has an emotional love tank of some sort whether it is being single or married. Life certainly looks beautiful when we feel loved by people who may be very important and special to us. If the love tank becomes empty, it feels as though we are struggling emotionally.

The problems which many adults face in relationships can arise impeccably from an empty love tank. You will find the world to look bright when we feel loved by our spouse.

But if however, the love tank is empty; our world will begin to look rather dark. Not even success or financial gain can fill up the spiritual love which comes to be drawn from god and match the Sunnah of the prophet in a marriage. People are different and as so men and women. When one person feels loved does not mean that another person will be loved too. We may prefer to express love towards others in a way which would express love to us. Sometimes, you feel frustrated don’t you when your spouse does not respond back positively to the expressions of love. The problem comes to be not the sincerity of our love or that we do not have love for our spouse, rather it is the wrong love language we tend to speak. People will fail to communicate their emotions and feelings properly as when they speak their own language and not their mate’s.

Let’s move on to the context of marriage in particular, people express their love for their spouse through words of affirmation. Others may confirm their love through acts of devotion to their spouses. They show their love by spending much time with their spouse which brings about the attention needed. Buying gifts is a thoughtful one for a person to show love to their spouse. And such people demonstrate their love through physical touch and sexual relationships. There is both primary and secondary love language in which everyone has. For example, you will see about a change in some people desiring words of affirmation from their spouse more than anything else there is and it is believed to be as others say the main method of receiving and expressing love to someone.

It is not that they do not want to spend quality time with the spouse and the physical touch but however this makes them shine against other people. So, if a person has not got the ability to understand the love of their spouses, it becomes devastating in a marriage. It is as same as if someone is speaking to you in Chinese and you do not know how to say a hello in that language. You will need to speak the same language so your spouse can communicate, express, and demonstrate their feelings with you to acquire a generous love.

http://goexback.com/ How to win back your ex

zp8497586rq

tips before purchasing a car

Hey there reader, you’re probably here because you want to buy a car sometime soon? This guide will teach you common mistakes buyers make when purchasing a car from websites such as the Auto Trader, Piston heads, and eBay.

Don’t be fooled by these dealers they will only tell you nothing but positive about the car of course it’s all a part of business but you need to know certain information to help you determine whether the car is used and abused or not, this will allow you to make a smarter choice.

Service History

A service book indicates every time the car has gone for a service, this is the best method of checking if the mileage of the car you are buying is indeed genuine and not played with depending on the age of the car you are buying.

Example:

You see an advert for a “Volkswagen Passat 2005 plate”.

This makes the car 7 years old; ideally the mileage should be around 60,000 to 80,000 – keep in mind the numbers do add up.

If someone bought the car in 2005 it makes it a 7 year old car so on average it would be doing around the 10K mileage per year (it makes sense) however…

Let’s say the same car was advertised but it has only done 25,000 miles, most people usually rush and think they’re getting a bargain without realising how a 7 year old car can only be driven 25,000 miles? It could be very possible that the car may have been in an accident which will be discussed later on in this guide.

To conclude, the “Service History” is a must when buying a car - make sure it has the full service history known as FSH.

HPI check

Many, I repeat many people make this mistake, never assume things no matter how genuine the buyer may seem, the car may have been bought under finance therefore has outstanding payments. By purchasing a car it means such finances are now transferred over for you to pay - in simple words you’ll have a loan company up your backside if you fall into this position.

Use my car check when purchasing a car. Inform the seller you will do a HPI check and take down the registration of the car as this will not only allow you to check if it has outstanding finances but if the car was involved in an accident in the past or the paint was changed then you’ll be aware. In addition if you pay an extra £5 with ‘my car check’ it will also give you data on the mileage which can be very handy as it gives you that peace of mind knowing the car is genuine. You can then either print off a hardcopy or the information for the particular car will be emailed to you.

Other points you should consider:

- Take mechanic with you OR

- Take somebody who knows about cars, engines, gearbox, body work etc.

- Alternatively if you ask AA they will check the car for you A-Z and give you a report if something wrong comes out even after AA have given you a clear signal they will be responsible that is the benefit of taking this service as they are so confident that they will give you a proper report

Women whether Muslim or not have certain expectations on beauty put upon them – and one such like it is the social norm to ‘pluck’ or shape the eyebrows.

But is this Haram in Islam?

There a few contentions among scholars regarding the removal of hair from the face and/or brows. But the underlying message is that the removal of hair from the eyebrows for the purposes of beauty is haram because to do so is to change the creation of Allah (swt). The most frequently used hadith to justify or prove this conclusion is this:

Hadith of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood: (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Allah has cursed the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows (al-naamisah) and the one who has it done (al-mutanamisah), and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allah.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5931; Muslim, 2125)

“May Allah curse the tattooer and tattooed; the one who plucks (facial hair) and the plucked; those who split their front teeth seeking thereby adornment, changing the creation of Allah.” (Sahih Muslim)

According to this many scholars say that the An – Naamisah (the woman who removes/reduces the hair of theeyebrows), and the An – Mutanamisah (the woman who asks/has it done) is cursed by the Prophet (saw).

Cutting, Shaving or Trimming

To avoid actual plucking, some women cut, shave or trim the hairs of the eyebrows.

However, scholars say that where by plucking specifically or not it is haram due to the nature changing Allah’s creation.

“Indeed An – Nams (removing facial hair) is not specific to plucking, rather it is general to every changing of the hair which Allah has not allowed, if it is on the face”. Fataawa Ash – Sheikh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (2/830 – 831)

Excessive Thickness

It is said that the only time a woman may cut or shave her brows if it is so excessively thick as to affect her vision.

“Then in (this case) there is no problem with removing that which causes harm”. Majmoo’ fataawa wa Rasaail ash – sheikh Muhammad Bin Saleh Al – ‘Uthaymeen Vol.11 p.133, Daaru-Thuraaya, 1st Edition, Riyaadh 1419/1998

Permission of Husband

Some say that if the husband wants the eyebrows shaped/plucked it is permissible because the husband had a right over the adornment of his wife. (for example Imam Ar Ramli)

BUT, it is well known that if a husband tells his wife or his family to commit a sin, the wife/family should not obey. Therefore this also applies to the plucking of the eyebrows.

“And even if her husband ordered her with it, then indeed she should not obey him for it is an act of Disobedience”. Permanent Committee of Scholars

The Uni – brow & Upper Lip

Is it permissible to remove the hair between the eyebrows?

However others take a stricter view:

There are some different interpretations to the meaning of Al - Nams (removing of facial hair). Some say that this means ALL facial hair whereas others say it is limited to the eyebrows because it is the Al - Naaminsah (the woman who removes/reduces the hair of the eyebrows) and Al – Mutanamisah (the woman who asks/has it done) that the Prophet cursed.

Some scholars say it is permissible because it is not part of the eyebrows.

“It is permissible to pluck it, because it is not part of the eyebrows”. (Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 5/197)

So by this, the upper lip is allowed too. And according to some scholars it is in fact Mustahabb (recommended) - (if a woman develops a beard or moustache).

Hair on other body parts

- Legs, hands, cheeks, or forehead.

These are which there is no mention of in the Quran or Sunnah. Whatever is not mentioned in the Quran or Sunnah is permissible. Scholars of the Standing Committee and by Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen. See Fataawa al-Mar’ah al-Muslimah, 3/879

Again with the However…

Some scholars disagree with this because of changing Allah’s creation:

[Shaytaan said] “and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah” [Surah al-Nisa’ 4:119 – interpretation of the meaning]

So for each varying question about the removal of body/facial hair, there are slightly different opinions. But the clear plucking of the eyebrow to thin or shape is haram.
